To my surprise I was moved to 'in-line' today so I have a feeling that it was done automatically. Can someone update my case in the list?

Congrats, can somebody update mine also as I was placed in line for interview 16th January, 2014. That's exactly 1month to my 5years anniversary.

How long will it take after been placed to receive letter?

But if i do manage to get another $680 how would i deposti the money order rinto my account if i already put the USCIS think in the payable to block?

Then it was addressed to a different company but since my name was there as purchaser it still went through. I think the issue now is no money to send another, so you have to wait till it comes back.

So send the packet without a payment in it? Can i do that? Western union said the money order refund stakes 30 days from the time i request a refund, and i lose $15 to pay for a refund...ridiculous....

That really sucks. You can send in another with new check or money order and when that comes back you just pay into your account without requesting for refund from western union. I have done that b4, it will save you from any charges.

Is there any questionnaire given to us during Bio Metrics for interview preparation. Did any one of you got it...or we need to get it through online....

I received a booklet and CD with 100 interview preparation questions.

You should be given one but if not you must request as stated in your biometrics letter.

checklist says "The NVC has received the information you have submitted in reference to

the Affidavit of Support. Please be advised that the Affidavit of Support

information you have provided does not appear to meet the minimum

income requirement according to the current poverty guidelines to sponsor

the intending immigrant(s) for this petition. The consular officer will make

a decision regarding this requirement at the time of your interview. In

order to avoid delays, you may wish to submit an additional Affidavit of

Support (Form I-864) for a/another Joint Sponsor to the National Visa

Center to assist in sponsoring the intending immigrants. To view the

current poverty guidelines, visit"

Long story short. Get another sponsor and take the details for your interview. If you can get it on time you can send a copy to NVC also so that they can include with your docs before they send to your consulate/embassy abroad.

My eligible date was October 14th 2013. I sent my application on November 4th 2013. I got the biometrics appointment letter on November 11th 2013. Last week on Wednesday November 27th I did the finger prints.On Monday December 2nd 2013 I checked my status online and it shows that as of December 2nd I am inline for the interview.

I am filling based on the 3year marriage.

That's a bit close to the 1month before anniversary in line discussed. We will see as we all progress.

We called NVC and confirmed that we had a checklist about AOS. The agent told us that we only sent 1 copy of the form but they need 2 copies. My son is immigrating with me and his name was written on Part 3. We are confused why they need another copy of the form. And another thing, they told my husband that there's an error with the household income but we didn't use any household income. The agent told us to wait for the checklist email from them. So confused. We won't be able to make it for February interview. So sad. :'g

If you had check the instructions you will see it is required to submit extra copies for any other dependent. I did for ours as we are in same shoes as you.

Anyways, get a copy of it and send as soon as you get the mail.

I looked in the October filers thread and some people have gone "inline for interview" only 3 days after their biometrics got done! I guess it depends on what service center the person is going through also... And of course the eligibility date.

Did you check their eligibility period because it might be that they applied well after their eligibility time. For example if you are eligible 10 october (3months to anniversary) and you applied 5 december. You will get your in line faster.

Lets wait and see.

Got interview date today. 30th January, 2014 @ 7am.

Got biometrics done today in less than 10mins. Only one person there and I also had to show why i'm showing up earlier than scheduled.

Has anybody who's done fingerprint in line for interview? I read it's usually scheduled like 1month to 5yrs anniversary though. Any lucky person here?

Got biometric letter in mail today and slated for 12th Dec. 2013. I will try work in on Monday then update myself.

I think mine took about 4 or 5 days.

Nice and thanks guys. With the holiday i should be able to get the notice Saturday or Monday. That will be good for me. Will do walk in and travel for 6weeks.

My status message changed to we mailed you an appointment notice for finger print.

Please how long after will I get the notice in the mail?

I'm asking because I will be travelling late next week and want to see if it will come in before then and I can also do walk in before I depart.
