This is in a regional forum "Philippines" so I assumed I can use my native dialect.

Sa Mindanao ko gadaku pero sa kalooy sa Ginoo buhi pa man hangtod karon ug wa man ko makaagi ug g'yera sa akong pagdaku sa Mindanao.
Ang ako lang ika-ingon sa imoha ayaw paghukmi ang tibuok Mindanao kay dili tibuok nga Mindanao gubot nga lugar. Ang imong pagtrato sa mga babae diri sa Pilipinas mura ug Palengke. By the way I speak English just fine but maybe you can learn something about the Philippines and Mindanao by learning our native tongue.
Maybe you should stay in America where it safe under your mother skirt.

I've been accused and warned for attacking a member and racism. (mods..my warning hasn't arrived yet..bilisan mo) But I received no explanation of WHO I attacked (if someone felt I attacked them then I sincerely apologize, it wasn't my intent.)
BUT if you are accusing me of RACISM because I despise the potus to my very core then you better back yourself up. WHAT or WHO am I racist against? Obamas skin color? My WIFE is darker than him..SHEESHHH! Or maybe you think I'm racist over his WHITE half.
I DESPISE the man because IMO he is destroying the country that I fought and BLED over. If you have a problem with that, then I suggest you enlist and PROVE your rights to the freedoms Obama is systematically taking away from ME!!! You want to live in a socialist nanny state..then fine..BUT I will spend my last breath fighting against you. And, right now, Obama is cutting his own throat...so no worries. I respect you views and we all see life through differant perspectives but there area few 'For Sures' here. One is if you ever get involved with the law here..whether Innocent or not...you will never go to trial and the ONLY way you'll get out of the fix is to dig DEEP into your wallet..IF your a foreigner..your guilty EVERYTIME! Do a little research on foreigners arrested in the PI.
Do you REALLY feel safer with an armed guard at Mcdonalds? The armed guards you see at the every entrance to every buiness are very poorly trained and, in many cases, are more dangerous than the criminal themselves. Research the Mark Dizon murders in Angeles last year.OR the Billy Miller murder. And the list goes on and on...all unsolved or unprosecuted cases because no one wanted to pay the fee to pursue. The Philippines survives on corruption from the lowly guard all the way to the top of the feeding chain. Always has been that way ..always will. The Philippines was controlled and goverened by Mexico (not Spain) for 250 years. In most cases, they are twins...research...you may not feel quite so comfortable living here when you through..JMHO

Please READ Markieboys post. If you would have stated Davao and their LOCAL 911 services we could have had a civil discussion. But you chose to attack me and call me a liar with your trolling. The POINT was THERE IS NO SINGULAR NUMBER A PERSON CAN USE HERE TO ENSURE HELP IS ON THE WAY!!! My Asawa's grandfather died in an ambulance sitting in Manila traffic! Just a driver....TO MY knowledge EMTs do not exist in most ambulances. Your odds of surviving a serious medical emergency here are VERY SLIM!!!! Educate yourself.

The top ten reasons I chose to leave the Philippines after 3 years are:
10 Crazy drivers
9 Terrible or nonexistent customer service
8 Corruption
7 Food
6 Terrible infrastructure
5 Cruelty to pets and all animals i.e.####### Fighting, Dogs raised for food in unthinkable conditions, etc
4 No enforced laws to protect irreplaceable wildlife and fishes..fishing with dynamite is still practiced nationwide
3 If your White your rich mentality
2 Poor medical

Believe me..you did not offend me but your facts are incorrect..AND yes I meant yearly salary too! You also appear to have completely missed my point about 'teaching a man to fish'. I will also disagree about the filipino being proud of their country. Most want to LEAVE! They have polluted the land, air, and sea. The indigenous filipino wildlife is virtually extinct. Garbage is everywhere..etc,etc..sure doesn't sound like pride in their country too me! It's a failed society that has been ruled by other countries for the last 500 years...for 400 years it was a Spanish colony ADMINISTERED by Mexico...Filipino culture is MEXICAN culture with a little Chinese, Malay thrown in. Philippines-Mexico..almost a mirror image. Believe what you want, no sweat off me.

I'm sorry but your hypothesis on poverty in the Philippines is so full of holes I don't know where to start! You state you have SEEN the poverty..well I LIVE in it. I'd sure like to know where you get your figures? I know NO ONE that even comes close to making 300-400 thousand pesos a year in the Manila area. Yes..I'm sure a few thousand VERY skilled, high paying jobs exist BUT there are more than 16 million people in Manila and the MAJORITY don't make 25% of your claims! My wife is highly educated, worked in a major university..and made 100 thousand a year..six days a week..IN THE MANILA AREA.
The problem is very simple in the Philippines..CORRUPTION.
The analogy I like to use is Japan,South Korea, and the Philippines. All three we decimated by war AT THE SAME TIME! Japan and South Korea came out of the ashes to become two of the wealthiest countries on earth..the Philippines entered a bottomless third world stink hole. At one time the Philippines was the largest exporter of rice in the world..now they're the largest IMPORTER and just one bad crop away from famine! WHY? CORRUPTION..plain and simple. BTW ..I've TRIED to teach a Filipino how to fish..not interested..so that little hypothesis doesn't fly either. Take the pinoy OUT of the Philippines and ,yes, they are hard workers..within there own country..nope! When polled 80% of Filipinos stated they would LEAVE there country if they could only get the 'golden ticket' That alone tells you the totoo reality of life here.
