Perfectly normal for the online tracking system. You very well like many of us never even be put in the system to track. I had the same thing, and called them up and was told many aren't entered or updated if they are entered. Basically it's pretty useless. I got my citizenship and never once saw my information being tracked on that online system...
Our petition is the same, cannot be found on the on-line system. Do you know what else this affects? The misinformation (800#) line will ask you for your service center number when you are trying to connect with a human. Since it cannot validate the service center number (it must use the same database), it will promptly hand up on you after a few attemps. So for the most money I have ever spent on a application, I get the worst service yet.

We have always found the information found of the status page of the website, along with information given by the misinformation line (800 number) to be completely worthless, misleading and inaccurate. This is what we get for the fee increase, more government screw ups. I CAN"T WAIT until I can put all these overpriced petitions and time spend with immigration in the rearview mirror for good.

I was just wondering if anyone knows how N400 apps are processed. I mean we send them to our service center (Nebraska in my case) and the processing dates are through the local field office. What does Nebraska do with these apps before they send them to our local office. Anyone have any ideas?
Hi Cal,
Your case seems similar to mine. We sent our N-400 on 1/5/08, check was cashed on 1/10/08 and we received the NOA1 on 1/16/08. I have been tracking others N-400 from this site, sent to a service centers both before and after ours. I don't know why we haven't received the biometrics notice as it seems everyone else does shortly after NOA1. Also, our service center number cannot be tracked on the USCIS site, it comes back as invalid. I know this happens sometime but what really is annoying is that when you now place a call to the misinformation line, it asks that you enter your service center number before being connected to a human. Since our number hasn't registered, I cannot even connect through the 800 number.
I asked, through a Senator's office, to verify status at the service center (NSC). The reply was that the paperwork was received and the NSC was waiting for an interview availability time from the district office. I am still somewhat concerned that we haven't received a biometrics notice but this is all the Senator's office will do at this early stage. So we continue to wait and see what happens over the next few months.
On a side note, I thought the whole point of taking electronic biometrics was so it didn't need to be repeated with every application. Marilyn has already had two sets completed already, at AOS and again at removal of conditions.
Please let us know if anything happens with your application and we will do the same. As both of our timelines are similar and we share the same service center and district office, please let us know if your status changes.
Take care, Marilyn and Peter.

I have a friend who had plenty of trouble using REMIT2HOME!
Please don't confuse this awful service with REMITHOME.COM.
They are two completely different companies and I have been using REMITHOME.COM for almost two years and very happy with their service.

All these approvals in other threads and not even a sniff of one for us.... I'm with Tweety, if I go for naturalization, I want a refund!
Three chances of getting a refund.
1) Slim
2) Fat
3) None

Hello all,
Well the time has finally arrived for Marilyn's last step. I am gathering the paperwork (again) for the N-400 submission in early January. Can anyone post a sample cover letter if used, I always like to compare what I come up with against others who's packet has been received and accepted.
Thanks, Marilyn and Peter.
just wondering to see if you able to get hold of any sample cover letter for n400, if yes please let me know as i'm in the process of searching
thanks.
No one responded with a sample so I created one using parts of the cover letter I used for AOS and I-751. I have attached it here.

I asked the same question a few weeks ago. I don't believe anyone ever receives a approval notice no matter how many emails you get telling you one has been mailed. I also don't believe an approval notice will be needed for any future petitions.

All,
I received the 10 year green card less than a week after the email was sent. Then we saw this in the USCIS site,
Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED
Current Status: Approval notice sent.
On September 27, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED.
Has anyone received an NOA2 for lifting of conditions? Did it take a long time after the green card came? Just wondering.
Marilyn and Peter.

Another update Sept 28, 2007.
Received three emails today within four minutes of each other, letting me know the approval notice was sent. Just in case one or two of the emails gets lost I guess.

NOA1 was December 28th, biometrics in early Jan, not a peep since.

We sent our to the f**king NSC in December of 2006, still it sits.

Or you could be dealing with the Nebraska Service Center, which always sucks.
It was slow for the K-1. it is now the slowest for the I-751.
Gotta love the NSC.
I know, let double the fees, thats gotta help right?

Cal,
Keep me informed if you receive your biometrics notice. I still haven't received one as yet and our service center number doesn't work on the USCIS site. Also without a service center number that works, I can't reach anyone through the 800 number.
Thanks, Marilyn and Peter.
