I found a $740/person plus P1620 (fee) one-way first time immigrant's rate from this site. PAL is the carrier (other carriers are also available) so it's only 12-14 hrs flying time from Manila to LAX (no lay overs.) But they only have limited seats, so better get in-touch with them asap.

I paid last Tue, June 7 at 3pm and I was able to get a July 12 interview the next day, Wednesday on-line. I called them again today Thursday and the lady on the other line said the earliest she gave today was July 20. She can't access the calendar unless I cancel my July 12 , which I am hesitant to do because I might lose it and have to re-sked to a much later interview date.
-
Kish -> praying for you sis. I called again today and the agent said the earliest they got is July 20. I'll try again tomorrow, pag wala na talaga I'll settle for July 12. God bless!
-
Hi Lyn and Art! I paid last June 7 (Tuesday) and I was able to schedule an interview for July 12 on-line yesterday. I'll call again later to check if they still have an earlier date.

From what I understand you can only have one type of visa. I also have a US tourist visa, multiple entry until 2020. But it will be cancelled once my K1 visa will be approved.

Congrats to all who got approved! Happy for everyone.

Look for Marklovetina (VJ member) and other members who have been through annulment. They might be able to help you more. Annulment is the only way for you two to be together the legal, albeit long and expensive way. Whether you marry her in the US or the Philippines, CENOMAR is required in both countries.

Congrats Jess and Tim!

Congrats Kish! That was fast! Happy for you and your SO.

@lovelyjoy: congrats your done with your medical, did you schedule your interview? that went so fast! how much did you pay for the medical in peso and what are the vaccines included? coz I was thinking of getting vaccines before medical if I have to pay anything extra. Also, I already have a certified BC but I think it's more than 4 years old do you think I need to get a new one? I'm hoping to get my CENOMAR this week if I have time, been a lil bit busy with my work...
Nah, we haven't paid the visa yet so we can't schedule the interview. We're hoping this Friday, since we have not received the NVC letter yet so we're assuming our case is not yet in their system. I suggest you get a new BC with the CENOMAR. You can order on-line both. That's what I did and it only took 4 days if there are no problems with your documents.
Btw, my vaccines included MMR, pneumonia, varicella and tetanus if I remember them correctly. But the doctor usually decides what you need esp if you don't have a record with you. Since I have an asthma, they gave me the shot for pneumonia for protection (that's what she said, I have a higher chance of getting it because of my asthma). I paid P9,300+. I don't remember the exact amount, but it covers everything from blood extraction, x-ray, urine test, shots etc.

Just finished my medical yesterday and they gave back my passport too and my copy of the medical exam. The lady at Window C said I need to bring my passport to the interview.

lovelyjoy, you make me anxious to go dress shopping too.. but we haven't even decided if we're going to have a traditional ceremony, I keep going back & forth about it - but I so want a dress.. I look forward for a few months ahead when people will post wedding pictures, ooo yes it is exciting.
Danik -> I'm actually thinking of having 2 dresses! Lol! One for the ceremony and one less formal and more comfy for the reception. My fiance wants to have a big wedding with 100+ people mostly his family and friends. We just paid the down payment for the venue yesterday.
I finished my two day medical yesterday too. My arms are still sore (6 vaccines total) and I feel so heavy today but I have to go back to work. However I'm glad I'm finally done with it and moving to the interview stage.
I'm happy for all the recent approvals from fellow Feb filers! Congrats you guys!

Just got back from my first day of medical. Geeez, it was exhausting trying to find SLMEC (took me almost an hour from Pedro Gil LRT station) and finally going up and down those stairs. Lol! Tomorrow I'm having the dreaded vaccines. Good thing I'm scheduled to have them in the afternoon.
-
Lovelyjoy, about time huh? I thought NVC was supposed to be quick, but I suppose a couple weeks is nothing compared to the NOA2 wait.
I know! I'm glad I can proceed with the medical now that we have our case number. Thanks btw!
Yours is coming, hang in there danik and fellow Feb filers! I just got back from my gown-fitting. It's almost done. I can't wait to finally put it on our BIG day.

Same here, blurry BC from NSO and was born in 1979 too!
But when I applied for my first passport (6 years ago) DFA asked me to submit the local registrar's copy to verify the info since NSO copy is barely readable. So every time I need to submit an NSO copy of my BC, I always bring a spare/notarized copy of my BC from our local registrar so I wouldn't have to come back and get a clear one.
Re: wrong names/info, imyourbeloved is right. Get in-touch with a lawyer because those info are major changes and they can't be "corrected" easily. If it's just one character or a letter, I think it's easier to change.

Hi HisPrincess! I might have my medical this Mon, May 30 if I get out early from NBI for the NBI clearance. I'm trying to maximize my time. I might be there in the afternoon though.
-
Congrats Andrey and Milena!
We just got our case number today after two weeks of waiting.
-
I'm going there Mon, May 30. Probably in the afternoon after I get my NBI clearance. I only have our Manila Case Number (just got it today) and a copy of the USCIS letter, plus the other requirements (passport, picture, payment etc.) WE don't have our NVC letter or appointment letter yet. However I've read somewhere here that as long as you have your MCN you can have the medical.
-
Rylin -> from what I've read here, since you already have your MLA Case Number you can sked and have your medical even without the packet 3 or instructions from the embassy. I've read somewhere here that some beneficiaries never get their packet 3 or 4 or they get them late. once USEM have your case number in their system you can set for an interview appointment. for now start compiling the rest of the requirements like CENOMAR, BC, proof, NBI and the support documents from your fiance. That's what I've been doing while we're waiting for our MCN.
:)

It'll be 2 weeks tomorrow (Phil time) since our NOA2/K1 application approval but no Manila Case Number assigned to us yet.
I had to cancel my leave from work today and tomorrow since I can't do my medical without the MCN or schedule an interview. I guess they are right... the waiting never ends. Lol!
Good thing that happened though my CENOMAR and new BC arrived in the mail today! And I thought it will still take two more weeks (according to the NSO site), but surprise!!! I got them today. To do: get NBI clearance, passport pics and the rest of the proof of on-going relationship. Also waiting for the package from my fiance (support, letter, NOA2 etc).
-
Sorry to hear about your friend. Congrats on the NOA2!
-
Barn & Cean -> I hear you. It will come sis.
-
Hang in there you guys! Although we already have our NOA2, but we're still waiting for our case number from NVC so our medical and interview are still on hold. I'm trying to get busy with the rest of the requirements and wedding details now that we're just waiting for the number to be in their system.
I bet we'll hear more good news tomorrow. It's still Sunday in the US today.
