Last week I spoke with the USCIS Ombudsman s office. They recommended that Nebraska fliers write to the USCIS Director s office to inquire about the lengthy processing times at Nebraska. So here s what you need to get your letter to them:

Maybe someone will sit up and take notice "

This sounds good! Though I'm not sure what exactly to write, how to phrase the letter. And do you send a letter to all the people listed above, or pick one and see what the result will be. Also do you send it to the E-mail listed or maybe by priority mail?

Personally I'm very frustrated, as I started the over-all process in November of 2017. My then Fiance'e and now wife, her/our wonderful and sweet daughters, just want to be together some time this year. Looking at others time lines it looks like about 5 month minimum following an Approval from the USCIS, until an interview can be scheduled. With the Nebraska Service center about 6 months behind the Texas and Potomac centers, and a PD date of July 22nd 2019, it may no be until December 2020, before I go to bring them home. I know there are many others in the same boat. It's the not knowing when that drives us crazy, and some are and I'm sure I/we will be soon seeing those blessed to not be at The Nebraska center getting approved.

Anyone have ideas?

Nearing the end of the year, and wondering about what to file on taxes for this year. We were married in July in Moscow, Started CR-1/2's also in July of course, my wife and daughters will not be here until Hopefully next year. I read through the "Nonresident Alien Spouse" https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/nonresident-alien-spouse and am just as confused. They obviously don't have SSNs as of yet. So what do we file as?

Had anyone submitted CR1 and gotten an IOE number, and Filed a I-129F for the K-3 and had any results?

Okay I asked my Lawyer about the I-129F (K3/K4). She stated that this has become obsolete, due to it taking longer to process than the original I-130 (CR1.)

I've also read a nuber of threads on here about it and many say it is obsolete also.

But it seams to me those that have been using them tend to get the CR1's approved much quicker and then the USCIS denies the I-129F (K3/K4.)

If this can speed up the process that much I am definitely up for giving it a try.

Just curious, does submitting multiple petitions, for my wife and her/our children have any effect on the timelines?
