Hello all, Yes i became too impatient after one year of waiting for NBC to schedule my interview. So I decided to file for Citizenship today Sunday since i will be too busy working on week days. If you filed earlier and have had you interview or oath ceremony, how long did it take you from when you filed to get your interview scheduled? . I filed online and I see it says it will take approximately 13 months. Not sure which service Center is processing N400 application but I really hope it's not my Night Mare NBC. Because this National BadLuck Center is really good in testing someone's patience.

Hi all, I think my case goes weird since the RFE request changed several times. 02/15, I received the message from USCIS that they have cancelled the RFE but then they requested me RFE next day(02/16). I got approved on I-130 on the same day that they have cancelled RFE (02/15). I am preparing documents that they asked me to submit but I am quite confused when I check my I-485 status. Is this case normal? Please advise me if someone has same situation like me. Thank you.

Hello, I hope everyone is well. One of the questions on the N400 application asks about "Why did you not register with the Selective Service?" In all honesty, I did not even know I was allowed to register for Selective Service and thought I had to be a citizen to do that... Did everyone that is male here already register for selective service? And if not, did this affect your application? How to resolve this? Thank you for your time!

Hi, I got married to my husband last May and we're in the process of waiting on our CR-1 visa. I live in state of California, which is a community property state and it requires all people filing MFS to attach something called Form 8959. I'm not sure if I need to complete this form given our status: - My husband is a non-resident alien who lived outside of US for the whole year (no SSN/ITIN)
- We both work corporate jobs and don't have any joint income (no real estate or anything like that). My husband's job is in his home country and it's a non-US company.
If I do need to file a form 8959, does that mean we need to disclose his income in his home country and pay tax on that too..? Please help - !

About a week ago, I've updated my(US Citzen) ACA application to include my wife who arrived in the states in February/2022. We did so without SSN. Which has not arrive yet. Today I got a letter them asking a copy of her SSN. We will update the SSN document when it's available. Has anyone had similar experience?
