Fiance Inside the US while filing K1 Visa

Hello!
My fiance and I recently got engaged. She is here on a j-1 visa that expires in July of 2022 (not subject to the 2 year foreign residency requirement). She has not been home in a few years, and she and I would like to visit before us getting married it possible.

I see two options:

1. We get married close to the end of her visa and then file for AOS

2. We file for K1 Visa early next year while she is still in the USA. When her visa expires in July she will head back to South Africa to complete the interview scheduling, medical exam etc.. and then return on the K1 Visa after approval.

Risks related to Covid travel bans aside, is option 2 possible?

We were planning to discuss this in depth with a immigration attorney, but were curious if anyone had any knowledge regarding this.

Thanks!

Driver's License Reciprocity- Michigan

Random question: wanting to hear opinions.

Korea has a reciprocity agreement with Michigan. So, if you have a license from Michigan you can exchange it in Korea from a Korean license. The husband >a USC< did this a few years back and all he needed was an Apostille.

So, I have my Korean driver's license (I've had it for 5 years) but I'm not a Korean citizen. I'm wondering if I'll be able to exchange my Korean license for a Michigan one

Michigan SOS has this to say about the reciprocity agreement:

Michigan has entered into agreements with the governments of South Korea and Germany regarding the honoring of foreign driver's licenses. Under the agreements, German and South Korean citizens over the age of 18, who are lawfully present in the United States and have established residency in Michigan, will be able to exchange their valid German or South Korean driver's license for a Michigan driver's license.

Should I be preparing myself to go through the entire DL process again or do you think I'll just be able to exchange my license.

FIY: Other States just indicate you can exchange a foreign license and do not mention citizenship...

Example Colorado:

Testing

Colorado has reciprocal agreements with the following countries. If you have a driver license from any of these countries, the testing requirements will be waived.

Canada

France

Germany

The Republic of South Korea

Taiwan

Hi! I received NOA1 for the I-29F I filed last week. We initially nominated the consulate in South Africa for my beneficiary's interview, however he is legally residing in Australia and wish to move the interview to Australia if possible.

Is it worth:

1. Withdrawing the petition and re-filing with the Australian consulate listed? OR

2. Calling USCIS and requesting they amend the form OR

3. Waiting until the NVC stage before requesting a case transfer? - we know this can add months to the process, and since we have only just filed, we are happy to withdraw and re-file if it ends up being faster than option 3.
