US Immigration from Sierra Leone

Hello everyone,

I am planning to file for a K1 visa for my fianc whom I met when I visited my home country June 2019. I was married at the time of the meeting; however, I got divorced shortly after that in September 2019. My ex husband and I met while he was on a student visa (unknown until after getting married) but I loved him and didn t want him to leave so we went through immigration for his AOS. Unfortunately we started having marital issues shortly which led to us separating and me relocating to another state. We ended up getting back together under the same roof after one and half year of separation. My question is should I indicate on the two addresses that I lived at during the separation that I was separated from my ex husband and also that I reconciled with him on the last address we resided prior to the divorce in 2019?I know that they already have our file at immigration and don t want to hide such information, but I also don t want to disclose information that may not be required either. Please help and thanks!

my fianc e and I met on the 4th of November 2018, about a week later we started dating. He left some time late in November, communication between us was pretty good. He came back on the 12th of February 2019 and we went to a beautiful resort...on the 14th of February, we invited some of our friends to have dinner at the beach and a burn fire afterwards , it was his idea...which went pretty well

After dinner, he proposed to me and I said yes.

We spent some time together and he left on the 3rd of March.

He started the K1 visa process in May. On the 7th of January 2020 I was scheduled for an interview, I went on that day but the interview couldn t commence, I got scheduled for the next day.

On the 8th I got interviewed, I was asked few questions and then the Consular told me that my case was on hold and she handed me a white paper which stated that under section 221g I couldn t be granted a visa and that my case needed additional processing.

she asked for additional documents (my fianc e s passport stamps and tickets receipts)

I dropped the documents on the next day...the paper stated that they ll contact me as soon the processing is complete, we haven t heard anything from them yet.

i checked online today for the status of my case and it shows that my case is on administrative processing and that it was updated on the 13th of January 2020...at this point my fianc e and I pretty much confused.

Any information regarding our predicament will be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone from an African country ever been approved for an NVC expedite in 2019-2020? If so, can you share the country and justification?

I need a lil advice on the best way to go forward with including my 8 month old son on my k1 and k2 visa application. My fiance will be filing a k1 visa on my behalf soon, but I have a 8 month old son that was conceived about about 5 months before I met my fiance in person which was December of 2018 when she traveled to my home country of Sierra Leone. My son's mother and I are no longer together of course, and she was unable to properly take care of the child, so I moved the bby in with me and with the help of my family, I have been caring for him. My fiance traveled back to me in May of 2019, at that time she met the bby briefly. In October of 2019 to December of 2019, my fiance traveled to me for the 3rd time and the bby was with the both of us for most of that time. My fiance has really fallen in love with the bby and we are hoping to be able to do k1 and k2 visa. The child's mother is aware that I plan on moving to the USA to be with my future wife, and I have told her that we plan on bringing the bby. She is fine with everything. So can anyone advise us on any special letters, signatures or anything that we might need to obtain during the process. I know we have to file additional k2, but thing else? Does anyone know if I might have to have paternity testing done. I have signed his birth certificate since day 1. I looked at the Sierra Leone USA embassy web site to see if there is any special requirements noted in a case like mine, but I cant find anything.

I need advice on which visa should we apply for. My wife is transgender woman we met on Facebook about 3 years ago at the time she was married but separated from her now ex husband!! In December of 2018 she came to my home country of Freetown, Seirra Leone to meet for the first time. We spent time and she met my family and friends and was great!! She traveled back to me in May of 2019 and we decided to do marriage ceremony but we did not register the marriage with the government. We could have though because her passport is gendered marked female and we could have used it as identification for her to have our marriage registered, but because her birth certificate and and driver license are gendered marked male, we were worried that the USA government would not recognize it as a valid marriage and our visa would be denied!! So my question is how should we apply for Visa? Should we do the k1 or cr1?
