My 18-month extension letter is expiring in November and my case status has been ready to be scheduled for an interview since April 2020. It seems that the only way to prove LPR status after the expiration of the 18-month extension is to get an I-551 stamp. I am a little concerned because I need to prove LPR status to my employer after the expiration of the 18-month letter to keep my job. Can anyone share their experience with scheduling an InfoPass appointment? I have been reading a few posts and it seems that these appointments are not obtained easily and are for emergencies only.

My fianc is insisting that I re-scan all of the evidence I sent with the application because someone told him he needs it in color. I already sent color scans with the application. It's my understanding that they will have this already for his interview and that he should bring different pictures to his interview. Is he correct? Do I need to re-scan all of the call logs, passport stamps, photos, receipts, etc. again so that he has a color copy?

Could anyone point me to the language in the code stating that after filing the I-751, an LPR retains legal status until the case is adjudicated? I was under the impression that this was the case but my spouse and I cannot find this information on the USCIS website. My spouse's employer requires permanent resident status to be employed and their 18-month extension will end at the end of November.
