I did not see a topic for 2021 filers, so I created one.

I applied for my mother yesterday - Please share your experience if you filed for a parent(s) in 2021.

Looking for ways to show proof of bona fide marriage for i-130 petition, and thinking of frontloading petition, I am considering including my joint tax return with the i130 petition even though it is not required until the NVC stage. Is this a good idea? Would the actual tax return that I will submit suffice or I have to have some kind of receipt from the IRS? Because we are recently married and not living in the same country it's hard to show commingling any other way.

Has anyone noticed the form i130 itself will expire soon? The current form will expire on February 28, 2021. It says on the website that they will soon come out with a new i130 form but if we file the CR1 application with this current form, and and a new i130 comes out, will we get in trouble??

January had 97 CR1 approvals

70 IR1 approvals

and 61 K1 approvals

but we got hit with this notice from Morocco and i am praying for all of you that they will not include the US with its over 500,000 deaths

Authorities in Morocco plan to suspend all flights from the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, and Turkey effective 2359 Feb. 22 as part of the nation's efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19. The measure, which will remain in place for a period of two weeks, also bans entry by passengers from those countries who are traveling through other countries. In addition, all flights between Morocco and Australia, Brazil, Denmark, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK remain suspended due to the discovery of new COVID-19 variants in those countries.

Most other international passenger flights remain suspended until further notice; however, some airlines operate limited repatriation and charter flights. Emergency and cargo flights are exempt. Sea travel to Spain, Gibraltar, and France remains suspended. The border with the Spanish autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla, located on the northern coast of Africa, is closed until further notice.

I see that recently the US embassy for Morocco recently updated its website to state that they are now processing K-1 visas again. I m curious if anyone who filed after the shutdown due to COVID has gotten a interview date yet or are they only currently working on people who had a appointment at the beginning of last year and was canceled due to the shutdown? Just curious how long of a wait it is for the paperwork to be sent from the NVC to the embassy.
