I'm reaching out for advice and support regarding my wife's IR-1 visa application. According to the National Visa Center (NVC), all documents were submitted promptly and accurately, but it's been over 2 years since then, and we still haven't received a call for an interview.

Priority Date: November 7, 2022
Current Status: Waiting for interview scheduling at the U.S. Embassy in Freetown
Foreign State of Chargeability: Liberia
Interview Location: Freetown

I'm concerned about the delay and wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues. What could be causing the delay in scheduling an interview? Are there any known issues with the U.S. embassy in Sierra Leone that might be contributing to the delay?

My niece is scheduled an interview for B-2 visa next month to attend my son graduation in U.S June, 2025. She is a full-time university student while she work part-time. She lives with her parents and doesn't have a bank account. I will purchase the tickets and sponsor the trip 100%. Would this cause her visa denied by not having a bank account or assets? What documents is needed for her interview?

My wife had her second interview few days ago at the US embassy in Monrovia. The case status still says 'Ready'. The case has been updated once. I'm a bit confused, I don't know what is going on. Can someone please share some experience with me?
