Traveling While in AOS

I would like my wife to join me on some out of the US travels.

Is it possible for her to travel with me, while we wait for the AOS Green card?

Secondly, she lost her actual green card so I assume that precludes any traveling, but is it possible for her to get a replacement green card while we wait for AOS.

thank you

Processing Question

My wife received her 797 January of 2019 extending her green card for 18 months.

She did her biometrics appointment well over a year ago, but we have not heard a peep from UCIS about anything.

What should my next steps be?

Given that its past the date, her drivers license is expired etc so it is a real problem.

thanks

Expedited case "In Transit" for 3 weeks

My husband and I were DQ'd on June 16 and approved for an expedite on Sept 4. Our case was sent from NVC to the embassy that same day. My status has been "in transit" since then almost 3 weeks. Has it taken this long for anyone else? I've called both the NVC and embassy but neither can give me any information on where my case is. At what point do we assume it's lost? Or, more likely, is it at the embassy but hasn't been looked at yet?

I-751 Tranferred to NBC without notice of transfer

Hello fellow journeyers,

Here's the situation: soft LUD on old USCIS website on May 15th, 2020 (before the N400 application was submitted) and the new website is still stuck at application received. Found out through a phone call to USCIS for something unrelated that it was transferred to NBC however, we never received a notice of action and they said one was never sent. After an additional phone call (for something unrelated) we were told it was still at NBC. The case is a few days away from 16 months.

I'm wondering if anyone has been in a situation like this and if anyone knows why exactly we would not have received a transfer notice. I have searched everywhere and cannot find anyone that has written about this.

Thanks all and good luck on your journey!

Harold
