US Immigration from India

Hi, I just got an email from NVC for the final interview. Is the email the "letter" that is required as a proof to schedule the biometrics / medical or will I get an official "letter" that I need to wait for? It's been 1.5 weeks since the email.

In DS-260 online form in Child information column, if child is daughter & she is married & is our petitioner, as Indian tradition her name was changed after marriage . So, I need to mention details in Child name as per birth record (Birth Certificate) or as per her current name (US citizen/ passport)

I finished my Interview at the Mumbai embassy on 9th June 2023. It was pretty good but somehow consoler ended with a 221g White slip ( attached image) I don't understand why? Has anyone with the same situation in the past? Like the same letter?

My spouse is scheduled to attend her IR1/CR1 interview appointment on July 31, 2023. Since the I-130 approval and subsequent NVC delay, we have a new child that was born on March of this year. Our child has since acquired a US passport. Prior to the interview, do I need to update the DS-260 with the child's details? Or do I just carry the CRBA record and the US passport to the interview for confirmation? Please advise. TIA.
