US Immigration from India

Hi!

We have a pending I-751 since November 2019 and have been waiting for a interview since July 2020. We then filed N400 in April 2021 and are waiting as well.

My wife has a I-551 stamp in her passport with a expired green card and we will be traveling to india in February.

Question: When we are in India and a interview letter is sent do we have any options to reschedule the interview? Is this normal? Abnormal?

I want to apply for Green Cards for my mom and dad. They are currently out of the country and have valid B1/B2 visitors visa. I have 2 options:

1. Apply i130 in the home country and wait the process out (could take around 18-24 months)
2. They come to US on the visitors visa and I apply for i130 and i485.

Some of my queries are:

1. Will they get an extension to stay on their B1/B2 visa if I take the second route?
2. Can they travel back to home country if there was an emergency before the GC interview?

Hi all. I applied for my i751 removal of green card conditions and missed my biometric appointment recently.
I rang the USCIS next day and explained them that I had little fever and cough. I wasn t in a state to make it. So they told me someone I ll call me back.

no one till date has called and it s been two weeks.

has anyone gone through a missed biometric for i751 scenario? I am very nervous and feel like USCIS will cancel or deny my petition as it says everywhere.

Hi all, as per following news release, anybody who has filed ROC i751 till Sept 4th will receive a new 24 month long validity extension letter (counting from green card expiry date).

Can we upload Tax transcript that are downloaded straight from IRS website or do we have to print them and then scan and upload because

the ones that downloaded from irs have restriction saying "This document has an open password or a modify password. you cannot edit or copy this document" it shows on the side of pdf viewer when you open it. would it be accepted on NVC? Note : documents do not have any problem opening but it just has message on the side.
