Hello everyone, I would just need to confirm that what is going on with Mumbai embassy , why they have stopped giving cr1 visa from last 3 months, anyone knows when they will start giving interview letter for cr1/ir1 visa, my dq date is 6 Jan 2021, currently they are at 10 November 2020, how long it will take ?

Hello,
We sent our I751 form - I see the package has been delivered and my credit card has been charged for the exact fee amount. I have not received any intimation from USCIS- and I am wondering what is the best way to check on the status?

Hello,

My wife (age 36) and son (age 6) are US citizens and have OCI card for India.

They got their passports renewed recently.

Would they need to renew their OCI card?

I heard rules changed recently, OCI website instructions are not clear so wanted to get help.

RFE for birth certificate

Hi Everyone,
so I have sent my AOS package on August 3rd,2021 and I have completed my bio-metric appointment on September 28th,2021.
but now I have received an RFE for long form birth certificate.
FYI, I m currently on f1 stem opt and married to US Citizen.
Country of Birth is India, I have already sent below documents for birth date proofs with my original AOS package:

1. Copy of original birth certificate (in native language: Gujarati)
2. Copy of Translation of birth certificate to English with notary.
3.Copy of High School Leaving Certificate for secondary Evidence ( it s written in Gujarati and English)
4. Copy of 10th grade Marksheet/transcript.

but I was still issued an RFE for long form birth certificate.
so I did some research and I got two affidavit of birth from my parents and had notary stamps from lawyer on them.

Do I need to include any other documents for the proof or that should be suffice?

Hello,
I want to change the last name of my stepson. My wife's last name was changed when I applied for her green card however did not realize to submit the same for my step son. What is the process and cost? I have already sent the I751 for the removal of the condition on their residency here. Please help.
