US birth certificate after Naturalization and name change?

Hello everyone!
I have another question. How do you obtain a *US* birth certificate after naturalization and legal name change?
Can you even do that?
Obviously, I cannot travel back to my country and convince the authorities there to accept a foreign piece of paper that says I am not even a citizen of that country anymore :) :)
So, since you are now a US citizen, how do you get a US birth certificate, since you original birth certificate, first of all lists you as a citizen of another country and has the old name on it?

TIA!!!

"Previous Names Used" question on passport DS-11 application

Hey guys!
So I requested a legal name change when I applied for citizenship and it was approved. I am filling out a DS-11 form and it says "Previous names used". Will the old name be displayed on the passport as well or only the new name? I really do not want the old name, lol.
For what it is worth, it is a completely different name, both first and last. TIA!!!

Surrendering your green card(s) at Oath. What about childrens?

Hello!!!

So my Oath ceremony is 9/13. I have two minor children, who will derive citizenship from me. Obviously only I, the adult, is taking the Oath :) the letter states bring all Green cards/Visas/any document that USCIS has issued you related to your alien status.

Ok... what about the kids' green cards?

I would think no (?) Because this is about the adult but I thought I would ask.

Also, after your Oath, what paperwork do you fill out to get your minor kids the derived citizenship?

To clarify: yes the minors become citizens when the adult becomes one but it is not magically updated somewhere. There is paperwork the adult citizen has to fill out, just like if you had a baby with an American and they got citizenship from the parent. Any idea what kind of paperwork and where you file that?

TIA

Oath ceremony duration in NYC

I read many experiences, here and on reddit, but one question... I could not find an answer to (except in very old, pre-COVID and, probably, by now, irrelevant posts). So figured I could ask here.

Here goes: What time was listed in your Oath letter, and what time did you leave the building (after the ceremony)?

(want to schedule an appointment after my ceremony, so some actual data points would be super-useful)

Thanks in advance...

Do requested changes to the Naturalization Certificate at Oath Ceremony incur delays?

I am scheduled to take the oath in 2 weeks. I strongly suspect the Naturalization Certificate will state that I am "divorced". Well, I think this is wrong - as my marriage has been annulled (the officer at the naturalization interview had the annulment decree in front of him - but said there was no checkbox for annulment in the form he had on his computer, so he checked "divorced". I believe he was in error" - he should have checked "single", but did not want to start a fight).

I can try explaining that at my oath ceremony, when they ask you to check for errors in the certificate. Assuming - and this is a big if - that they agree to change the thing, can they do it right there and then (essentially print a new certificate)? Or they will tell me "You are right. We will change it. But not now. Hence you are not leaving this building w/ a certificate today. We will mail one to you shortly".

The thing is, I do not want to have to wait! If it is going to take another month to get the "correct" certificate, I'd rather get one now, even w/ the "wrong" marital status. Waiting longer means waiting longer for a passport, and I am just not in the mood.

Does anybody have any first/second hand experience? (I will be taking the oath at the NYC office, downtown Manhattan).
