Hi folks,

I was a k-1. my green card (I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status) was approved January 13, 2023 and expires January 13, 2025. I have not received any notification that extends for 48 months instead of 24. Should I contact USCIS or Im not applicable for the extension?

A few days ago I applied for Social Security Card ( I came to the US under K1, still not married)

The confirmation receipt they gave me states: You can use your Social Security card for work only if you have authorization from the Department of Homeland Security.

However, they gave me two more papers: SSNAP Printout for Social Security Number Card that has a Ref number and mentions, Lawful Alien Allowed to Work and they also gave me a paper that mentions DHS Case number: xxxxx that mentions: Temporary Employment Authorized

I thought that under the K1 visa you were allowed to work but had to apply for EAD.

Has something changed and while the card application goes through the DHS also gives you work authorization or?

Me and fiance send our I-129F petition to the Dallas Lockbox and it was rejected due to incorrect fee info.

Now we are looking to resubmit with the correct fee info.

My fiance ( US citizen ) started a new job after we send the petition but before we got rejected.

Should we recreate the form I-129F from the beginning including the new employment information or we must resend the previous form?
