US Immigration from Ethiopia

I want to ask about the process of applying for the police certificate from Ethiopia for K1 visa. Can any one help answering me what is the process, documents needed ,time taken?

Looks like the Embassy is opened and picking up some cases at American Ambassy in Ethiopia.We all heard some news here and there but this confirms the speculations.Hope they can double it up in February

Hi, I'm curious if anyone on here has had a similar issue. My fiance and I are still waiting for him to get an interview at the embassy, however his passport is going to expire at the end of July. Ordinarily he would just renew it but there is currently an armed conflict happening in his home state and his ethnic group is being specifically targeted. Discrimination against his ethnic group has drastically increased including preventing them from boarding international flights or interrogating them for hours before they board international flights (also firing from jobs, imprisonment etc). It's unlikely he will be able to renew his passport or they may confiscate his passport and then he just wouldn't have anything. Has anyone dealt with anything similar? Is it better to show up with an expiring passport or no passport because it was taken away but at least we tried?

I worked for lyft using my own social security as a F-1 student that I got from the school for two years. I'm trying to marry my US citizen girlfriend and file AOS. My question is can I still keep working unauthorized while my AOS is pending thinking it will be forgiven because I need to pay some bills or should I stop working before filing the forms? Also I'll be out of status in two weeks cause I have decided I need a break from school to pay in state tuition, that is when I'm planning to file exactly in two weeks
