Congratulations on approval of your petition. Keep rolling!

Thank you brother. You as well ??

Hello Biqo I'm planning to start a cr1 process. Would you advise that or a K1 visa? can you also tell me how long it took you guys to get a work visa

I choose the K1 visa because I want us to be together as soon as possible even though its more expensive. Based on our timeline, it took about 9–10 months for my fiancé to enter the U.S. and around 3 more months to get the work permit (EAD). Even though there are more steps after arrival, like adjusting status and applying for work authorization, it was worth it to reunite faster. The CR1 visa is more straightforward in the long run, but it takes longer before you can be together. For me, being together sooner was more important than saving time or money. That’s why I went with the K1.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
