I filed for my wife with 2 of my grown daughters from another mother and my wife 2 children. The consulate asked for the DNA testing of my two grown daughters and one of them is negative. Can anyone please advise me on what to be expected because I m really worried and in pain at this time. She s 18 years and it s so sad that I just now find out that she s not my daughter. Will my wife and the other three children be approved or what to expect

I was arrested for driving on a suspended way before I got my GC, charge got dropped to an infraction, this happened in 2015 I got my GC in 2018 through marriage. First wife filed for divorce, and I remarried to another US citizen since then and we have a baby on the way. Turns out I m scared of traveling and also of doing my citizenship. Please enlighten me on what I m in for during the administration. I really wanna get my citizenship done and be over with it.

thank you!

Seeing that these forums are less attended than AOS and K1,
I thought to start this one a bit earlier than normal.

Hopefully you all have been working on your proof of marriage documentation.

I-751 Document Checklist (taken from other groups):
- Front/back copy of permanent resident card.
- Copy of the driver s license and/or identity card for each party of the qualifying marriage.
- Legible copy of your marriage certificate establishing a marriage to the U.S. citizen spouse.
(The certificate must indicate that after the marriage ceremony, it was registered or recorded by the county, state, or province.)
- Documents that prove your bona fide marriage and co-habitation covering the period of time from the date of marriage to the present
(such as: o Copies of bank statements showing joint savings accounts and/or checking accounts - one for each quarter (four per year) since the date of marriage.)

- Two declarations by close friends or family members with knowledge of your bona fide marriage.

- Copy of joint water bill, cable bill, energy bill, phone bill, or other statements issued in both your names indicating your residential address.

- Copy of joint car insurance.

- Copy of joint home insurance.
- Copy of joint mortgage or lease.

- Birth certificates of children of the marriage.

- Insurance policies (showing spouse as beneficiary).

- Charge accounts in both names (copies of billing statements).

- Letter from the employers, showing who is to be contacted in case of an emergency; how many dependents are claimed for taxes; etc.

- Copy of joint Federal income tax return.

- If your spouse s name has changed, any identification showing the married name such as driver's license, etc.

- Letters and cards written between the parties, or other correspondence to the couple.

- If applicable, submit copies of military Basic Allowance for Quarters (BAQ) form for housing and/or DD Form 1172 for dependent military cards.

- Copies of wedding and travel photographs, travel documents and/or other evidence that you feel should be considered.
(The photos should be annotated to show the date and place where taken and identifying any other individuals in the photos)

Looking forward to seeing @grumpypiggy again in this forum.
Getting it started a bit early to be sure the ROC group exists

Name changed through adoption, can I apply for I-751 with my daugther's new name?

Hello people!

My husband legally adopted my daugther in Florida, we have a court order. Her SSN has her new name on it.

But we CANNOT get for her US passport yet (only after 2 years since the adoption date).

So we'll have to apply for I-751 (ROC) soon for her as well but I'm struggling a little bit to find out if we can apply for ROC with her new name without going through the I-90.

Has anyone done this before? Specifically about legally adoption.

Thank you!

We received this email yesterday, but nothing changed in our USCIS profile.

Our case has been in process for six months what could this mean?

Should we wait a few more days for any updates ?
