  1. Hi! Unfortunately I received a request for further evidence and have still not even got to the point of being approved. What I overheard for those that did receive approvals on the day was generally “you should have this back in about a week.”
  2. Ooh yes, I may give them a call tomorrow! I was told to expect an email telling me my application was refused and why and instructions on what to submit. I also need to post an original document to the embassy so am expecting the email to have courier info too.
  3. Gosh, I’m sorry to hear that. If it’s been that much longer than the projected timeline I would maybe try and get in touch with them - do they provide a way to do so at all? Also curious how long it took you to receive the RFE email? They said it would be a couple of days but I still haven’t heard anything (and I need it for the courier service).
  4. Hi! Do you have any updates on the time it took from sending your documents? I just had my interviews and need to submit documents so very eager to know how delayed we will be by this…
  5. Hello! This is a general question for people who (recently) had their interviews. How long did it take for your via/documents to arrive at your house after the interview? My interview date is April 26th and I’m trying to get a realistic idea of when I will be able to head out to join my husband (and planning around some other things). Thanks in advance!
  6. Hi! I had my medical just last week. I have a history of depression and was on medication for 4 years, but came off it several months ago. My doctor was useless at giving me detail on it: my patients summary just said “Depression Resolved” on the date I started coming off my medication. Didn’t even have a start date for it. The Visa Medicals doctor asked me some basic questions about the condition and ensured that I was now feeling fine. I specifically asked and the doctor said she had no concerns.I think your letter sounds like more than enough. Best of luck!!
  7. We were DQ’d on January 25th - still waiting for the IL and have been checking my emails like crazy. Praying it comes through soon!
