  1. I am in a similar position, having arrived in the US on IR-1 a week ago. I start my new job on Sept 26th. Very curious how soon the SSN will arrive, too. Hope there’s an expert here who can advise!
  2. It varies wildly depending on consulate. Perhaps you can check timelines for others with the same consulate as yourself?
  3. Hi all! I’m preparing for my interview at the Amsterdam consulate, which occurs on 6 Sept. I noticed in CEAC under IV section that my DS 260 has an expiry date: 30 April 2022, as the process was delayed and delayed…what do I need to fix in order to avoid a 221g for this? Many thanks in advance!
  4. Thanks! Hope they get to the letter U on Monday 😄
  5. For these ILs I noticed it’s around 10:00EST…. And I’ve received mine!!!!! Interview 6 Sept! 🥳🥳. I’m supposed to start my new job 1 Sept but they are willing to hold on… actually, they’ve been waiting since April! Just so very happy that it’s now all happening 😍 best of luck everyone!
  6. Well, it does appear to be I-130 week, at least! Let’s see where we are in 24 hours.
  7. Oh, that’s right… and I-130, too.. did you see anyone from Brazil receive an IL this week?
  8. It’s so, so tough.. I have been pattern-spotting again, though ☺️ Do we think the NVC are working through I-130s in alphabetical order of country name? Embassy countries with ILs so far have included Belgium, Dominican Republic, Germany, Guyana… those of us with I-130 and still waiting are from Haiti, Netherlands, Switzerland, Tunisia, U.K. …
  9. Congrats everyone!! Hope the rest of us hear something soon ❤️
  10. What’s your visa class and DQ date, by the way? Helps others to fill in your timeline
  11. They only required the case number. After that, I made sure to have any missing vaccines (chickenpox for example) at the GGD. When I was able to prove I’d had all required vaccines, they offered me a date and time slot. Took me 3 weeks total, including waiting for a GGD appointment. Good luck!
  12. Also, did CEAC change at the same time as receiving your email?
  13. Oh yeah, I remember now. Good job. I had my medical in Amsterdam yesterday! Was a nice experience, not stressful at all.. my favourite part of this process so far 😂
  14. That’s amazing! No more uncertainty even though it’s further off that you’d hoped. Have you done your medical yet?
