  1. Hey Sou, you'll find that out when you schedule your appointment. For example, for Dr. Nardone you'll find the booking dates here: https://progenda.be/calendars/docteur-nardone-raphael-medecine-generale-panel-physician-visa-schaerbeek?locale=en With the earliest date being Feb 17.
  2. In Belgium, you'll need to visit a doctor beforehand for the varicella shot. My doctor first did a blood check to find out if I needed the shot because a lot of people have immunity without even knowing about it. Turns out that I was one of those people. He gave me a prescription for the vaccine that I needed to take to a pharmacy in case the blood report did come back negative for immunity though. Do not forget: if you are immune, you'll need to provide the report of your blood work to the immigration doctor.
  3. I arrived in the US on a CR1 visa yesterday. I did not realize it at the time, but the Washington (IAD) CBP officer did not stamp my visa nor my passport. The stamp was supposed to endorse the visa. Doesn't that mean I don't have a temporary I-551 of one year like it says at the bottom of the visa? I asked the officer to change my mailing address. USCIS' Emma confirmed that the address change went through and that my green card is being processed, but could not tell me if I am a Lawful Permanent Resident and that I should ask an immigration lawyer. Emma further asked if I wanted an appointment to get a stamp. I said yes. However, that can take up to 30 days, apparently? Can I do anything at all without an I-551? I wanted to apply for jobs, and have interviews lined up, but I'm not even sure if I can do that now.
  4. That date seems to be some kind of golden date for interviews, haha
  5. Man I wish I could find a job that's willing to wait 😂 we have our interview dates on the same day!!
  6. My medical is August 9th. Good thing I never waited for my interview date to schedule that because the earliest medical date right now is September 15th in Belgium.
  7. Oh, apparently the email also contains my interview date. In all that excitement I didn't scroll all the way down 😂 my interview is September 6th. Not the closest date but at least it's something.
  8. Cheer up folks, we were right! NVC has started back up again!! Just got my "NVC left" email hope my embassy will take care of it quicker than NVC did 😂
  9. Just saw a post on FB of a Chilean person that just got their IL. Their DQ date was June 15th. Maybe it's starting back up? Fingers crossed. Btw: the time between NVC left and consulate received is about a week according to VJ timelines. So, I'm pretty sure this person was in the same boat as us.
  10. So, another week of no updates huh? Let's hope next week is our week 😂😭
  11. In this thread we have a running theory that NVC halts all family-based visas in the months of June and July to process student visas for the US. This will probably be the case in China as well, if you think about the number of Chinese students in the US. I think we're going to get a response soon (late July or beginning of August).
  12. No, sorry buddy. Just got a response from my embassy saying they haven't gotten my case from NVC yet. Which means the interview has not yet been scheduled.
  13. Same, "At NVC". Today's the four-week mark. Let's hope that actually means something.
