  1. Yep I’m applying under the 3 year rule too. What I mean is did you get issued your green card with conditions removed. Dont you have to do ROC after the conditional green card is granted?
  2. Did you already have your 10 year gc at the time of your citizenship interview?
  3. Lolol that is too funny that he and his wife are in the same boat. Also REAAAALLLLY helpful that you mentioned your husband being called in. I read a lot that they don’t have to come but would be good to come. So now I will make sure my husband comes (he has work at the time of the interview). thank you for sharing your experience! That gives me a good idea of what to expect. I’m Cleveland office so we’re the same state. Congratulations on this next step. We are almost done!
  4. Such a good one! I didnt even think of any new stuff. Thanks!
  5. Finally got my interview scheduled under 3-year rule. I'd gotten my 10year green card a few months ago. Wondering, for those who are went in just for the citizenship interview what did they ask you and what documents did you bring? (I'm aware that for those who haven't gotten their 10 year gc, that the interview/approval for that is sometimes done at the same time as the citizenship interview).
  6. Thank you! That seems like the logical answer. I just wasn’t sure if it was more complex than that.
  7. Hello!! I did some searching online regarding this topic but didn’t find anything conclusive. VJ has always been so helpful.he was born in the Philippines but is an American citizen and NOT a Philippine citizen. My uncle died recently and we need his birth certificate to transport his remains to the Philippines. Do we get his birth certificate from the Philippines? Not a report of birth abroad of a US citizen right?
  8. Ive seen many old posts but this was 2015. Things change so much with USCIS. But thank you as this helps too
  9. Thank you so much for such a detailed input. I love this so I get a better idea when travelling within the US (which is rare). I live in rural Ohio so maybe not much of an issue but it does still scare me. Not sure if cops look to ask for GC when pulled over for a traffic incident.
