Hi guys!

We will send our petition as soon as our attorney / notary gets the papers done, we dont want to have it sent back for RFE or anything that might be missed. Hopefully done by this or next week :)

What are you needing a notary for? Or is it part of the service the attorney is giving?

Best of luck!

I don't know, but my fiance wanted this attorney that had helped him before with immigation papers for his daugther and her mom (whom was not American) and the notary is just looking through all papers that we have done so far, helps out with questions and mostly helping my fiance out with getting tax return papers and so because he's working a lot and wouldn't have time do it himself. I think the notary takes $500 for all papers, from I-129F to my when my AOS is done and I've gotten my 2-year conditional visa. So I mean, why not have someone that know what they are doing for that little ammout of money? ^_^

Okay- Just wondering. Most people on the site do it themself unless there is something unusal about their case. Thats not to much for the sevice. Best of luck!

So are you applying for your AOS now or K-1?

Hi!

Well there is a minor problem to it, but its nothing that is wrong really if you just look through the papers. His ex gf (the daughters mother) payed someone (this was in Ecuador) to fake a marriage with him, it was legally valid but he never consented to the marrige, he didnt know anything about this until a few days ago when her mother did some research for him after that his ex said something about their divorce and since he never knew he got suspicious and then he told me that's why she got the visa so fast. The USCIS thought she was his wife and since they had a daughter it was just like an automatic approval. But now he feel like he rather just play along and just pretend he knew about this because otherwise if he denies any knowledge about this to the USCIS they are gonna think he is up to something and that will delay my papers and you know.. just take it the easy way. They are divorced since 3 years ago after they split up (the divorce also took place in ecuador). It's not a huge problem really since they are divorced and all since a long time ago, but it'd still be good to have someone for this.

I'm applying for K-1.
