I-129F Approval for fiance from Peru

Jorge (a Peruvian) and I just received our NOA2 approval notice yesterday, we had to wait a longer time than I had expected but we are very thankful that God answered our prayers and we have finally been approved. Now my question is... while my fiance is waiting for his package to arrive from the embassy what can he be doing? And what is all this about a medial exam? is that something that he has to wait to get until his package arrives or can he start on that before? Any info really from anyone who has gotten the VISA with a Peruvian fiance would be super helpful...like...how long does the package usually take to arrive? Does the embassy give us our interview date or does Jorge have to arrange it? Lots of questions! God Bless!

First of all CONGRATS with your NOA2

While your waiting is waiting for his interview he can obtain the police certificate from his country and any other countries he lived in for over 6 months since the age of 16, usually they are asking for 2 passport size photos (5X5 cm...you can find the exact requirements in guides i believe), make a copy of the passport (biographical page), legalized copy of the birth certificate (I also translated it). The medical examination can be done anytime since it is valid for 1 year. I think there are specific hospitals and i do think they have the necessary forms there too but check out your embassy's info on this site under "embassy info". They usually list the hospitals, the addresses and the phone numbers...you can make the appointment any time and call them asking if they have the forms...or you can just wait for the package. he can gather any form of an ongoing relationship from the moment of filing until the interview...that is all i can remember at the moment
