Okay this may be an entirely dumb question but I'll ask anyways... On my g-325a, I needed to make an attatchment sheet for my employment history..Now lets say I was unemployed from mid november until may 7th, the day I started work last year..Since they ask for months and not days, The unemployed months are from November until april, and not May, since I was employed for the majority of May right?

So nobody else replied, is that a general consensus then? The reason Im concerned about it is because I took a short trip to brazil from the end of last april through the first few days of may last year to see my fiancees brother who was in a bus accident and offer moral support to the family.. I have to include it on declaration of meetings in the last 2 years. I discussed it with my employer that I would be starting at a later date, they were very understanding of the whole situation. So again, is there an overlap? like unemployed from november til may and employed from may on? or do I only need to put april since I was employed for the majority of may? Or am I just putting too much worry on a smal detail?

You are putting too much worry on such a small detail lol. You started work in May and were unemployed in May, so give them the month they ask for. You can put November to May as being unemployed and then May to present being employed, that's how i did and well, i'm approved lol.

Do as Stina said and you'll be fine. They know that a month has a lot of days and that in the same month you could be unnemployed and then found some job. This bit won't be of much importance, just as long as there's no gaps.

I'm a little confused of what i should put into the "applicant's residence" box: what degree of detail they are expecting?

In my case in the last 5 years i've been at UCLA for 3 months, than back to Italy then over at my gf place for a month then back to italy, then again over for 3 months and back to itsaly and back to her place for a month than came back to italy but at different place.

Do u think i should put all of them? Also cuz evidences i'm giving of the relationship includes boarding passes related to my trips to the US.

Thanks in advance

Your right .. put May as employed .. if they wanted to know exact dates of the months they would have space for them ... ! Good Luck

My best advice would be .... Place of residence means the place you legally live .. where you get mail have bills .. ect .. not where you visited .. it sounds like you will need more space then they offer on the form ! hehehe good luck !
