I-130 STAGE 1 : 533 days - 1 year 6 months (4/16/2007 to 9/22/2008)

Priority Date I-130 : 4/16/2007 ( 533 days , APPROVED 9/22/2008)
Transferred to local office based on "security checks" : 11/27/2007
wrote hundreds of letters - received letter from FBI Records Management Chief stating no security checks
local office interview : 2/21/2008 - brought my parents too (result : you will get approval within 2-3 weeks)
5/2/2008 - (lawsuit) Writ of Mandamus - OFFICIAL DATE (7/29/2008)
9/22/2008 - CALL AND EMAIL COPY OF APPROVAL NOTICE FROM LAWYER

NVC STAGE 2 : 99 days - 3 months (9/30/2008 to 1/7/2009)
NVC Received : 9/30/2008
Received Packet 3 (I-864/DS-230) : 11/10/2008
NVC says "RFE sent out 12/9/08 for missing documents" : 12/10/2008
CASE COMPLETE - 1/7/2009

CONSULATE STAGE 3 : 96 days - 3 months (1/8/2009 to 4/14/2009)
CLEARED CUSTOMS - 3/10/2009
**APPOINTMENT DATE : 4/14/2009, 7:15AM**

AP STAGE 4 : 97 days - 3 months (4/14/2009 to 7/20/2009)
DOS call to receive I-601 (Waiver of Grounds for Inadmissibility - basically denial) from Guangzhou : 6/24/2009

REMOVAL OF I-601 due to my letters to the USCIS Director, Michael Aytes: 6/29/2009
CALL-IN LETTER NOTIFIED : 7/8/2009
CALL-IN LETTER (APPROVAL)!! : 7/16/2009
ALL DONE!! (got both GREEN CARD & SSN CARD) : 10/1/2009

Interview Date : 12/9/2013, originally 12/3, stupid lawyer filled out her dad's passport number wrong..

I'm sorry if I'm totally out of touch but what has been done on your case? Has senators gotten involved? Have you called the CSC everyday? Have you been able to obtain any information at all?

Well, that´s the question - I guess nothing but they keep touching it. My husband sent fax to both senators of Texas last week and yesterday he called to those offices and was told that somebody will look into it within two weeks. we really hope that will help and my case will be finally APPROVED!!!! We should have contacted senators much more earlier because we are over 200 days which is horrible. What´s wrong?

Also, when we called USCIS a few times before, we never get specific answer bu only were told to call in 30 days. Those people are so .... unhelpful!!!

That is such a kind word for what they really are. I hope and pray you are approved VERY soon, this is an outrage!

awwww.. now I'm in 2nd place.. :crying: :crying: I even lose the longest immigration race... no offense, nerdette.. :whistle: ... I sent my complaint (1) a whole page letter stating my situation - working for government , US Citizen, how my application is over 180 days, how I am going to give them deadline of 1/1/2008, and other stuff.., 2) an authorization for privacy statement, and 3) latest case status printed from the web stating 4/27/07 last case status)... I sent these to about 18 congressmen in California (including mine)... also, sent it to 2 senators from California, governor, senate.gov, also the vice president too.. also to a few other Assembly members, U.S. Attorneys, Attorney General...

basically, make everyone you know in the government know about your case.. even the vice president and president (I didn't find the president's email, only vice president).. and it somehow went through.. I received a letter two weeks after, and also a phone call from them just yesterday..

Think about it, do you think your wife would have gone to the top? How many people in other countries have the guts to go to the leader of the free world with their problems? God bless America! (not the USCIS though, they can all go to...)
