the rfe said they need a legible birth certificate of his( he is philipino) and the entire divorce papers ( he had only sent the first three pages)

Was your fiance' born in the Philippines? What is the nature of his status is the US? Permanent Resident? Naturalized?

he is a naturalised citizen of USA since '99 . and he is legally divorced since 2005, no criminal convictions and no drug use. he is a doctor with high earnings,....nothing bad or strange

Laura, we are calling them almost every day but they dont want to tell us anything. All they say is to the 60 days. I ran through the Forums all day and have seen so many cases with RFEs that got approved right after the Service Center received their replies. I hope that we just have a lazy adjudicator but at the same time i wonder why we got 2 touches after they've receive the reply and still no approval

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.

Laura,

please, don't get all worked up before you know the details of their decision.....be strong and keep the faith.

If the RFE was all about legible copies of a birth cert and final divorce papers there's no valid reason for a denial!

The only reason I can think of is that they didn't receive what they were asking for,and then they would send another RFE,as far as I know....

Many hugs for you, and try to keep calm,ok? Keep us informed, we'll be there for you!

I can only tell you that my birthcertifate should be translated by a proffesionel translater fluent in english and danish which is my language.

It was not enough to let our lawyer doing this

What I experience in my own case is that the decision was a denial but not a denial to not let you continue your case if you could obtain better papers. I don't say yours is a denial. But I guess that they need more from you and that you maybe have to start over. That's what happend to me. But not nesserary the same for you. Just relaxe and await their letter honey.

Everything will be fine.

Did you actually called the number I gave you?
