A couple more questions

Hi again, sorry for the influx of questions lately, but we're still struggling to get this package together before our interview on Dec. 6th.

Anyhow, since we are using cash in the bank for our assets, I know we need a bank statement of some sort stating how much is in the bank, etc.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm not sure exactly what the bank letter should look like, if we need to ask for the bank manager to come write it up, or if this is just a semi-common form they have already that they would just fill out.

I'm also not sure exactly what it should state. Obviously they need to see how much is in there, how long it has been there, and have the bank's logo on it, but is there anything else that I need to know about?

I don't think they need to know how long the cash has been in there- maybe just a letter from the bank saying you've had the account for this long and currently have X amount. Also bring in copies of the last say 3 statements. that should work.

I agree with Len, our letter was written by the bank manager, I think this is because she likes me, as I have never met her I can't really claim that - but anyhoo:

Date

Our names and address

Dear you two,

Re: Account 12345678

As per our conversation, we are unable to provide statements that reflect both of your addresses and information. So I have enclosed a porfolio statement for each of you.

All of the above mentioned accounts are joint accounts with right of survivorship. All three accounts are registered in both of your names with the following address as the contact address, again for both of you: (our address).

Should you require any additional info - etc etc

Name

Branch Manager

So along with this she enclosed a 1 page statement of our accounts with balances. We submitted these to NVC and they accepted them.

Husband will be taking some statements with him to the interview.
