I rarely post here anymore because a lot of the opinions I see expressed on this board are nothing short of absolutely ridiculous. However, I really felt the need to comment on this one.

Direct quote from another thread:

"You had it easy getting **** here and most of the women are struggling to get their husbands here. You truly have no advice to offer because you haven't been through anything. You haven't struggled to get **** here."

We all know that immigration is a pain in the @ss and no walk in the park -- even if your SO is from a Western country. This line of conversation that has gone on repeatedly is just plain absurd! If someone managed to get through a difficult consulate quickly, then they have MUCH to offer -- and I think much of it is common sense.

I don't know exactly what your talking about here , but from my own personal exerience here certain members show an extreme lack of empathy that if they had been put through the same rigors and tribulations as others, they would perhaps have a sense of compassion and choose their comments with more sensitivity.

Just a thought. but like I said I don't know exactly what you are talking about and of course someone that sailed through a difficult embassy does have a lot to offer.... I too feel torn on this board I hate to see the agressivness and when I see a thread turning badly I just walk away. I wish everyone here well. It's a hard world and it's nice to have a place to turn where someone understands

Noone is saying someon is better or worse.. Its just hard to listen to someone who has 5 months wait ( like you) or 7 months in process telling you to be patient when you are looking at 1 year in process and no end in sight and that person is lecturing you when their husband is in bed with them every night.5 months girly is nothing.. and of course you can make this comment because your husband is here.

I started all of this a year ago and because of bad advice, I went ahead and started a new petition 6 months later only to have my `129 approved... I am now on a cr1 and uscis has now stalled and I will soon be 6 months at USCIS alone and thats not counting the upcoming night mare at NVC which is stalled and backlogged too... I am in hell and so are alot of other PEOPLE IN THEIR JOURNEYs. The audacity of someone done with their journey giving me lip makes me wanna scream... I am not talking advice... I am talking uncalled for comments and lack of empathy..its so freaking tiring

I agree that nobody is better than anyone else, but what gets to me is the lack of compassion of some people. You can say something to someone in so many different ways, it's the same meaning, but if you word it with compassion and sincere advice, it comes out much differently, and not like it's attacking someone.

And none of it is your own fault since you had recently petitioned for a totally different dude prior to all this? Blame, blame, blame and whine, whine, whine is all you do. You have no idea how long anyone waited prior to filing. Many women on here have had to wait just to afford the filing and so their 5 months on a timeline might be 3 years, and you just don't know. So until you know everyone's story personally on here, shut the hel! up about who has had it easy and who hasn't.

How can one claim God cares to judge a fornicator over judging a lying, conniving bully? I guess you would if you are the lying, conniving bully.
