Hi all,

I sent my package on Oct 29th and they received my package on Oct 30th but as of today i haven't received my NOA (Notice of Action) and my check has not been cashed either

Any advice VJ Members :help: ? Does anybody who file through California Service Center experience the delay? Do you know what is the appropriate time to wait before calling the 1-800 numbers?

Thanks

I would wait until the end of the month at the earliest before getting worried. I've noticed people on here seem to be getting receipts anywhere from two weeks to a month after they filed.

For more guidance on what you can expect, you can check the Receipt Delays page on the USCIS website:

Thank you guys. It's just that some people here get their NOA earlier than others.

I guess i will have to wait untill the end of this month before i make a call.

I think it is too early to be worried about it but if you are already worried! you won't lose anything if you call, Maximum they will ask you to wait!:)

I was browsing USCIS wesbite and i've discovered this page: Updated Nov 9, 2007 USCIS has completed initial data entry and issued receipt notices for applications and petitions received on or before the dates indicated

USCIS Application and Receipting Update

"....Applications Received Prior to Posted Receipting Dates – If your application was received by USCIS before the posted dates below and you still have no receipt, please contact USCIS Customer Service toll-free at 1-800-375-5283"

For CSC, they are currently proccesing those cases that were received on October 25, 2007. (Look at "Other Form")

For NSC, they are currently proccesing those cases that were received on November 1, 2007. (Look at "Other Form")

For TSC, they are currently proccesing those cases that were received on October 5, 2007. (Look at "Other Form")

For VSC, they are currently proccesing those cases that were received on November 4, 2007. (Look at "Other Form")

Wow, VSC is moving really fast.
