PREPARATION:

Whisk together the egg and milk. Dip the chicken breasts in milk and egg mixture and then in bread crumbs. In a skillet with a little olive oil over medium-high heat, brown on both sides until golden. <script>zSB(3,3) Set chicken in a baking dish. Slice 8 pieces of mozzarella cheese and put two on each chicken breast. Pour 1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce over all. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and a little more mozzarella and bake at 350° for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until bubbly. Serve with spaghetti, garlic bread and a nice green salad.

The recipe is wrong. After frying the chicken or veal, add the marinara sauce and cheese, and then BROIL for NO MORE THAN 5 MINUTES! 30 minutes in the oven is what made it soggy.

She said she did it for 15 which is quite standard.

No it was for 35 minutes, I meant Sarah's recipe she posted said 15 minutes.

The sauce can be thin, but Marinara what you want to use. It will start getting soggy as soon as you pour it on the chicken, so you need to do this about 5 minutes before it is served. Hot broiler, 500+ degrees. The chicken is already cooked, you just do this to melt the cheese.

Jodo, when you have time and want to make it again, try Tyler Florence's recipe- it really is delicious and very eary, and the chicken is really crispy.
