Removing Conditions on Residence

My wife and I got married in Chile on January 28th, 2006. Immediately after that, we filed at the consulate in Santiago. She got approved for her CR1 visa in March, and arrived in the US on April 27th, 2006.

First question - I'm assuming that we can send in the I-751 form 90 days before April 27th of next year. Is that correct? The way I understand it, it's not 90 days before your marriage date, but 90 days before the date of entry to the US.

Second question - Are you supposed to send in the fingerprint cards - Form FD-258 - with the I-751 or do you just send in the I-751 and wait for further instructions from the USCIS?

I'm not really sure how the CR-1 Visa works, but you apply for Removal of Conditions 90 days before the expiry date on the Conditional GC.

So, check the expiry date, and you can send in your application as early as 90 days prior to that.

you don't need to send in a fingerprint card with the removal of conditions... a few weeks or months after you file the I-751 you will get a biometrics letter where it will tell you where to go to get your fingerprints and pictures taken....

like mentioned above you can file anywhere between 90 days and the day the green card expires.. which with CR1/Ir1 visas usually is the date of entry... but check the card just to make sure...
