Did the USC attempt to make any phone calls for an explanation. Additionally, be sure to check the packet. Maybe there is something missing and that got your packet sent back.

11/08/2011 - Interview date THANKS GOD went smooth n pretty easy with the nice lady IO takes 9-10 minutes wow???????????????

I think I waited more time for my Oath Ceremony schedule rather than interview process and after 13 minutes the lady gave my sched WOW CAN'T BELIEVE ......yayyyyyyy

I sent mine in with incorrect payment and got a packet of papers asking me to resend payment. I also sent it to Nebraska after they stopped doing K-1's and they automatically transferred it to California. Maybe the packet of papers he got back was because his payment was incorrect? There has to be some sort of letter with it that he hasn't notice yet. Did they send back the original packet with everything he sent them including evidence etc. ? I'm puzzled!

you know my fiance told me whats in the letter that says our application has been rejected..it said that they dont have the jurisdiction to process our application BECAUSE OUR APPLICATION IS FOR CALI SERVICE CENTER!

we indicated the california address and i cant believe how it got through the ILLINOIS SERVICE CENTER! ..we found out that it was sent to Illinois cus the rejection notice my fiance received was not from California but from the Chicago Service Center

ggeezz...so this means its the post man's mistake eh??

my question is, so what do we need to do now? do we have to just send everything "as is" to the CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER?

does this really happen?i mean, does anybody had the same experience, mail being sent to the wrong address?

Jul 17- 1st day - medical exam SLEC (on hold and waiting for it to be done successfully) July 31- PASSED!

Aug 28 - USEM interview date! (eto' na!) - PASSED - PINK SLIP ONLY!

Sept 26 - PAL departure - MNL-LAX

NOV 23 - Church wedding

Yeah its happening a lot to people who submitted in the fall. Ironically, I received a phone call from USCIS yesterday saying they thought my application was also sent to chicago and i should wait 60 additional days. I'm thinking someone on the mailroom floor screwed up big time and started redirecting files they shouldn't have.

All we can hope is that USCIS realises how badly they've screwed up with files in september/oct. and take the appropriate steps to fix it.

aahaahh! so it seems like the perpetrator is from their mailroom! :angry: anyways, i know theres good reason for this, well it gives us extra time to save more for our wedding :blush:
