I miss my HONEY sooooo much!!! We've only been apart for about a month. But with airfare being about $1500 and not having any paid time off from work, I won't be seeing him until he gets here. I just pray he will be here by next Christmas because this is our second Christmas apart and it nearly KILLS me some days. Well . . . . not really kills, but it feels like it sometimes.

Sometimes thinking about the time we spent together and how wonderful it was makes me cry because I want to be with him and have that wonderful time again. It helps to be able to talk to him every day, but it's still not the same (I can't kiss him through the phone  )

...it's only getting more and more difficult...

:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

::There’s a laugh in my eyes::

There’s a waltz in my walk

And it’s been such a long time

Since there was hope in my talk

If you never knew

What it is that’s new.. it’s you

‘Cause when your hands are in mine

You set a fire that everyone can see

And it’s burning away

Every bad memory

To tell you the truth

If it’s something new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

The world’s a different place

Where nothing’s too hard to say

And nothing’s too hard to do

Never too much to go through

To tell you the truth

Everything that’s new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

My life, my life

Ohh

So if I get to grow old (oh if I get to grow old)

With many years behind me (many years behind me)

There’s only one thing I want (aahh)

One thing I need beside me

For all that you are

For everything you do

For all that you’ve done

Just for showing me the truth

I haven't seen my husband since July 29 which was the date of his interview. I think for me the pain is ever present inside but doesn't come out until something stupid happens like today when I forgot my cellphone at work. I always text him in the morning and he texts me around lunch time and just not having that little stupid routine threw me off and made it hurt very bad today. :(

A week from Friday will be our first wedding anniversary and we will be apart. We talked about it today and laughed about little things that happened that day so that made it better. I think if we didn't have the ability to make each other laugh so hard it would be near impossible to endure this stupid Administrative Processing hell that we're in, but luckily we both have a good sense of humor and although we have our moments we seem to be able to cheer each other up when the going gets tough.

When I look further than the next 24 hours I tend to lose my breath a bit and get anxious that our separation will be one of the more hellish ones that I've seen through Egypt but then I make myself stop and stay in the moment. That's the only way I can get through it. Right now I'm trying to focus on what needs to be done for the holidays and watching my kids enjoy themselves with the all the festivities that they have. This time I have with them is very special and they're only young a very short while so I'm trying to embrace that as much as I can.

I will see my honey Antonette on February 1 at midnight. At this point I will just be so happy to spend 3 weeks vacation time with her. I pray her interview will go well on February 4th, and she returns to Seattle with me. But, mostly I am just so happy to be with her again.!!!!!! It has been 9 months!!!!
