Just get use to waiting.Because there is not too much you can do. You are going to wait on background check and more background checks and once your SO is here there will be more background checks. You will wait on EAD and SS number and AOS. We all have been through it. quit crying and put this time to good use.

While crying really doesn't get many people very far, gogo's case is not the typical "quit whining, we all have to wait scenario". He's in for something special, and it doesn't look to be in a good way at this point.... see this thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=97933

You have to wait and that's how is going to be. We just celebrated our 1st year marriage and you know how we celebrated? by finally sending in P3 and another I864 since the 1st that I went line by line w/ NVC operator was wrong.

wow, congratulations on such a speedy journey!! Guess I'm not one of the lucky ones.. :crying: I tried calling in yesterday, and the lady laughed at me.. she laughed at how many times I called recently, and I asked her "what, do you want me to call in 1 year?"... and then she got mad and starting taking me seriously.. she said "don't talk like that, I'm just trying to help"... so sometimes you just have to push them to get stuff done.. but I don't know if she was for real or not in helping me get approved... (by faxing in a letter to her and stating I wanted my I-130 to continue, and not I-129F)... when I asked them about what kind (and for who?) of security checks.. they couldn't tell me... =( I would think they do the "background check" on me first..

Hi Gogo,

I have decided to continue with the K3. Also, I know for whatever its worth I have contacted Senators Casey office today which is in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. He told me they would provide any help I need to get our applications completed. I also explained to him about its taking 4 to 6 weeks for CSC to our applications to the NVC. Also, he was going to look into this and

get back with me. I had worked with our Congressman's office before but, really the help they provided was helping me complete the K3 and not much more.

I believe our applications will be approved right before the next time USCIS updates there expected dates. :crying: Its sad and the wait is unbearable! We are waiting for USCIS to look at ONE document before our approvals. But, since they sent these RFE we now have been delayed and pushed back in line. This one document is unexcuseable by the Attorney should have known to have us included this in our paperwork. We will have lost about 6 weeks. These six weeks would have had my husband and family here for the holidays. There are no words that can justify this for me!! The wait continues.............

Did you talk to Alex? He was "helping" me before. Supposedly he was "out of the office" today. Hmmmm

geez gogo there's only an ounce of love pouring out to you.

Your frustration is totally understandable and expected. Cry if you want to. Scream. Freak out. Do whatever helps you get through the day. Sometimes the emotions run so high all we can do is let them out LOUDLY if need be. You got hugs coming to you from me. You are in my thoughts and prayers all the time. This is sheer hell. You're not alone, you have friends here that want to listen to you scream not because it's fun but because we have compassion for you.

Actually there are enough people to really open the people's eyes here in the United States. The American people are definately under an misconception on the length of time a person has to wait to bring their foreign spouse to the United States of Amercia. Most people believe once you marry an American Citizen you can come to the "States." But, until you experience this horrible, painful, emotional turmoil from USCIS it goes beyond anything else! Is out of control and its only getting worse...
