Methinks you need to get some with stretch in them Mags. I've worn Levis for years, but you gotta get the ones that have Spandex in them...

What brand of Levis have stretch in them, D? I prefer bootcut, I've got muscley calves from bike riding so skinny fit would look ridiculous!

I love the ones I have one now *goes to take down jeans to look at style #* are Levis Vintage skinny 582 - but they are not skinny! I like the boot cut myself. The other ones I adore are at home - gotta check later. The others have spandex tho - these don't but they fit good! I've found a pair or 2 at Kohl's & sometimes Macys but usually if I take a trip to San Fran I can get 3 awesome pairs for like $60 at their giant store. I got some Seven For All Mankind jeans (on sale) & frankly I don't see why all the fuss.

The jeans I buy are always too big around the waist and fit in the butt and thighs. Hence my new name on here. I've always had that problem. I could actually get away with wearing a size 0 if my butt and thighs weren't so big. Like today I'm wearing a pair of size 2 pants from Old Navy that fit me perfectly when I got them. Now they are ok through the butt and too big in the waist. I hate wearing a belt so I just have to go around pulling them up all day.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

I have big thighs (mom's fault, damn genetics), plus I work out so my pants are usally very tight on my legs, that's one of the reasons I hate gaining weight because I get real big thighs and I hate it, so that's pretty much how I measure my weight, if my legs don't look fat. I like jeans that are extremely low, extremely tight on my butt and thighs (to make them look skinner) and from knee down they go what's the name, flare? cuz I like to wear boots a lot and I don't like the shape underneath showing.

Sounds just like me. My big thighs and butt came from my mom too. I also can tell if I'm gaining too much weight by how my pants feel on my legs. If they start getting too tight that means I need to go easy on eating for a while. My legs always look fat to me so I just have to live with it. Everyone else, besides my family, always says, "you don't have fat legs." But seriously what are they gonna say. "Omigod, you have the fattest legs for a skinny person I've ever seen." I can't even find boots that will zip up over my fat@ss legs. Makes me so mad I can't stand it.

 I have that problem also with long boots. Are you also german descent?

I used to think I was weird because my similar weight and height friends had skinny legs and I had that chuck of a leg  but my mom always told me I should be proud, it's not everybody that can have legs like that. So I grew to like them, they compensate my lack of butt

I'm scotch irish with some American Indian thrown in there. I gain all of my weight in my butt and legs. I have always wanted skinny legs. My dad has little skinny legs. You could take me, my mom, and my 18 yr old niece and line us all up. From the butt down you wouldn't be able to tell which one was which. My niece always says she has cankles instead of ankles. It's just genetics. I do wish I had gotten part from both parents. Then maybe I would have just right legs instead of too fat or too skinny. But, I've already wished my fat legs on my children, boy or girl. Javi has little skinny legs and no butt at all. I would rather my kids get my butt and legs than his.

Large body parts come from food, not parents. Having said that, my metabolism doesn't like my soda habit or my eating habits so it's back to less food (something I learned well in SE Asia). We really do eat wayyy too much here. Over there, a tablespoon of dead animal and a gob of rice...here a tablespoon of rice and an entire chicken.
