Hey, my name is Drew and I'm a police officer in New York city. I met a really nice Thai girl on the internet a few years ago, long story short we were friends for a while, recently I went over there and we met, fell in love, and here we are...hopefully getting married next year sometime if all this bureaucratic headache goes through without a hitch

Anyway, nice to see everyone here seems so friendly and helpful, hopefully you can help me out with some of my many questions and snags I have along the way. For now my question is probably a fairly simple one I already know the answer to, but thought I would check with some people who are in the know already.

I'm just filling out the initial I-129F right now, hoping to send it off with all the material and filing fees in about two weeks. My problem is that the box on the first page for her address only has space for street, city, country, and zip, but she has a district in her address as well. I've asked another couple about this and she gave me a shortened version, but then my fiancee told me that the district has to be in there for her to receive mail. So my question is, since I can't possibly fit the entire address into this box, should I write something to the extent of See Attachment in the first box titled Street and then attach a paper on the back of the form with her full address? This seems to be the only option I have, I couldn't find any other forum topics on this, though I'm sure there are some. How should I fix this? Thank you for any help and nice to be here.

Thank you so much for your fast reply.

OK, and so long as it's in a manner that makes sense and is neat they shouldn't really care too much I guess? Attach it after the first page or after the third page or doesn't really matter?

Thanks again!

I believe if there isnt enough space for you to type. Just handwrite it.

Look at the instructions for I-129F

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-129Finstr.pdf

1. Type or print legibly in black ink.

Fill Out the Form I-129.

"If extra space is needed to complete any item, attach acontinuation sheet, indicate the item number, and date andsign each sheet."

Hope this helps.

I know the Thai names are very long.

Thanks a lot! Yeah, her name is long, but it fits...just the address there's no possible way, even if I hand wrote it. I'll use the attachment option I think. I'm sure I'll have more questions soon, thanks for all the help.
