she could come as a K1 fiance, for example, and receive EAD at JFK airport. but then she is assumed to get married within the 90 days window given for K1 fiancees...

not as visitor, though

02-04-2005 K-1 Interview inivitation

04-05-2005 K-1 Visa Interview in Frankfurt

04-11-2005 K-1 arrives per mail!

06-16-2005 finally arrived in America!

07-27-2005 got married on a HOT summer day in Houston, Texas

08-31-2005 NOA's both for EAD and AOS arrive in mail stated as of 26th of August

11-08-2005 Biometrics Appointment for AOS in the mail

EAD biometrics??-----never arrived

11-18-2005 Biometrics for both AOS and EAD successful!!

11-25-2005 EAD arrived in the mail after 3 months!! YUPPEEEE......Oh my GOD...that was a really stressful time. Immigration made my nerves go real bad!

11-28-2005 applied for SSN at Houston local office

12-04-2005 SSN arrives in the mail!

12-11-2005 AOS Interview for 30, January, 2006 arrives in the mail...Unbelievable...

If a european citizen enters the US as a visitor (visa waiver program), then could she obtain a temporary work permit at JFK point-of-entry? She is looking to work for 10 weeks while she's visiting the US.

I think that's called visa fraud.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Hello to all.

I think that's called visa fraud.

That's what I wanted to find out. We do not intend to commit visa fraud. She will not work while she's here. Thanks!
