Not a lot you can do to save time, it does depend on how many other people are in front of you at the secondary inspection. The actual process doesn't take long in itself, checking of forms in the MBE, fingerprints, photograph etc about 10 mins depending on the speed of the immigration officer doing it.

When I came in through Portland we had to wait until the whole flight had gone through the normal immigration lines and then they came to process the people in secondary. I was first and got to the baggage carousel just as the bags started arriving so I guess it was about 20/25 mins all told.

Not quite the same I know but my son transits via DWF when he came and visited last time and went through normal immigration quite quickly, which of course unless they have a separate desk for those holding MBE you will have to do first.

Have a safe and pleasant journey Thursday but isn't that one day short of the 2 years?
