It took about 2 1/2 months for my papers to get to Guangzhou, and then packet 3 mailed out. Check out my timeline, its about the same for everyone else.

Hi my papers were mailed to ucis on the 12th of march and i have not heard from gaungzhou yet. I wonder why you are getting an interview and i have not heard yet. I cheched out your time line and you advanced much faster that my paper work

He means it took 2 1/2 months from NVC complete to Guangzhou sending packet 3. That's about what you can expect but I'd add a couple weeks because of the holiday slow down. If you want to see anybody's complete timeline, just click on the word timeline near the bottom left of any post.

For this specific question though, I wouldn't use mine as an example. My NVC to P3 was unusually short and a year and a half ago anyway.

I'd say you're looking at an April or May interview date. You've got three holidays hurting you. Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Festival. GUZ closes for Chinese holidays too.
