Yep! Just a copy. Sometimes originals ate reguired by NVC for I-130 applications tho.

For original applications copies are fine.

copy is fine for the application .. the original is required at the interview even if they won't keep it but most likely would require it for review .

Yep, if you read through carefully (I highly advise you, however, not to take our word for it until you have read it youself in the USCIS documents - I have been thwarted by bad advice), you will see that copies (not certified) are ok, and that at interview time, originals will be needed.

Is this for both petitioner and beneficiary? I am assuming the beneficiary will not need to show originals of petitioner's passport or birth cert. at interview, right???
