Hello. My fiancé's birthday is Oct 4 and I have a card all ready to send out to her. I never really sent mail to the Philippines before, and I was just wondering around when should I mail it, to get it the closest to her birthday. I am mailing from California if that makes any difference.

I've sent a LOT of mail to the Philippines and the cards more often than not don't make it.

Especially if they are a bit bulky.

Best to send a USPS Global Express small box. You can put a lot of chocolate and goodies in one. I never had one not make it. Only takes a few days depending where in PI your pinay is.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

If you use regular mail send it now or use Global Express. I used Global and it took seven days.

Most mail will get there in about two weeks. Sometimes there are delays. Send it this week. Postage ranges from 90 cents- $1.07 depending on the shape of the envelope. If you use Global Express, it can be pricey.

Hi! Sending mail to Phils . is very erratic, like people mentioned sometimes the letters never make it, sometimes they get there in a week(from new york) One thing I have had success with is like air cargo/courier. THere is a company in ny called Johhny Air. I think they might have locations in CA and Nevada too. I had to send copies of stuff for my husband FAST (interview papers) they deliver to metro manila and provinces, usually u have to pick up the mail at the mall over there like robinsons or sm, however for $5.00 extra they will hand deliver to address(at least I know in metro manila)the package got there and was delivered overnight. the only thing u have to check is the pick updays in the US , here it is monday/wednesday/friday. so check it out, or maybe u can find similiar company that does this. good luck!very reasonable prices too, if ur sending card it will not be expensive. I paid less than $20 for a big package of papers about 2 inches thick.

lol, I never tried to send a card. I just always hopped over to the IslandRose website and sent Roses, and told them what to put on the card.

That way I didn't have to worry about postal, and could schedule when I wanted it delivered.

If it's going to be, it's up to me!

we've sent several letters & cards to each other regular mail.(for evidence later) they've made it as little a 7 days & as many as 21 days. i sent one that was lost for awhile that one took 48 days, & when she got it it had been opened.(don't put anything of value in it) but, based on our experience the average is about 15 days.

My then fiance (now husband) tried to send me a b-day card thru USPS but never made it. Since then, we only relied on FedEx when it comes to sending things to me... a bit pricey but very efficient.
