Good Evening everyone,

I have a question here.. Since my fiance already sent affidavit of support during the filing of I 129f to USCIS., do i need to have a new one for the upcoming interview?? Thank this site really helped us... all April filers will same interview sked hope to see u at the embassy on Oct 4.. To those who are still waiting for NOA2 keep the faith .. God has His reasons...

01/10/2011- Email from USCIS for the Required Evidence( Finger printing)

02/07/2011-USCIS online status update-

02/12/2011- Received Interview Letter Scheduled March 14

02/12/2011- Received Descheduled letter

02/17/2011- USCIS online Status update

02/22/2011-New IL arrived schedule for March 29

02/22/2011-Descheduled Letter Again ( 2nd Time)

02/23/2011- I called USCIS and I was told new schedule in the computer for March 22

02/23/2011-USCIS ONline update....

03/01/2011-Interview Letter for March 22 @ 7:15 AM

03/22/2011- Interview and Oath; US Citizen

hi im really not sure if you have to get a new copy of I-134 from your fiance but for me i will get a new one. its better to be sure :D BTW we have same interview shced. 730am good luck

I believe you need a new I-134 for the interview coz you'll need recent pay stubs, employment letter of your fiancé and have it notarized with a newer date. And of course to be safe and prepared..

Good luck guys on your interview! It will be nice that you'll be seeing one another there.

It's safer to bring another copy of notarized I-134 for your interview... Better be over-prepared than be sorry... :thumbs:

Good idea to have an updated i-134. However the one you originally submitted [Not requried at original submission]] will be forwarded to USEM so be sure everything matches.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Please read Section 4.3 of the Manila Embassy K1 Visa Guide.

Yes, the petitioner is required to supply the I-134 Affidavit of Support (including the required backup documents) to the beneficiary during the Visa Stage of the immigration process. The I-134 Affidavit of Support is NOT a requirement for the Petition Stage. Therefore, the I-134 Affidavit of Support is required to be submitted during the visa interview.

p.s. - Conversely, there is a different affidavit of support that is required for the AOS Stage, once the beneficiary's visa is approved, arrives in the states, and marries the petitoner. That form is the I-864 Affidavit of Support.

he should'nt have sent the AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT together with the application for I-129F to USCIS . You should need a new one for your interview.

hi since your on K1 visa... u have to have I134 affidavit of support... check out US Manila Embassy's website for more details...dont forget to have it notarized too!!!!

May 02, 2008 - visa in hand, had the CFO stamping done at once, bought ticket online...

May 03, 2008 - flew to US to be with stinky love...

July 29, 2008 - NOA for AOS and EAD

You probably don't need to submit a new one but we did just because it make us feel more comfortable :wacko:

As far as I know..the Affidavit of support should not later than 6 months. It shoud be notarized so that consul can check if it is recent or not. My fiance then brought with him his affidavit of support when he flew to Manila to be with me on my interview date.
