Got back from Toronto

i had a nice time in toronto & niagara falls.

thank you all for your tourist tips.

i did so much walking, saw lots of things.

now am so exhausted.

tried to cover as much as i could, while my hubby was working.

Saturday

we arrived midday, still sleepy as we woke up @ 3am to get ready.

thats what you get for buying a cheap flight.

we walked to the Eaton Centre, Yonge Street.

its a huge mall, so many people.

felt like being in the Philippines, so many filipinos.

went to mass at St Michael's Cathedral.

then had dinner at Hard Rock, Cafe.

Sunday

Rented a car to go Niagara Falls.

so much cheaper than going with the tour group.

traffic on the way, took 2hrs total.

we parked at casino niagara.

its so weird seeing casinos near the falls.

went on the "Maid of the Mist"

it was brilliant, we loved it.

u got so close to both American & Canadian Horseshoe Falls.

walked around, went to the shops & casinos.

had our first Tim Horton coffees, real nice. yummy

no wonder they are everywhere.

"Journey behind the falls" wasn't that good.

i thought you could walk along literally behind the falls, & not see it through 2 portals.

Monday

while hubby worked i did my own walking tour in Toronto.

these are the places i visited:

Nathan Phillips Square

City Hall

Old City Hall

Eaton Centre

Scotia Bank

Commerce Court

RBC

Air Canada Centre

Harbourfront Centre

Toronto Dominion Centre

Sheraton

back to the square.

its amazing how some of these places have underground shops.

its handy when its raining.

once my hubby was off work, we went to the CN tower.

it was so cool, we went right to the top as it was a clear day.

dinner was at the Gretzskys restaurant.

walked back to Eaton Centre, boy this was far

Wednesday

just had the morning, so i went to the Distillery

that was my trip.

i'm so tired now, but have lots of washing & cleaning to do.
