Just got my biometrics notice today. But unfortunately, there's an error in the notice on my alien regstration number in one of the number in it. They put 4 instead of 1. So what would i gonna do? inform USCIS so they can recorrect it or just correct it on my biometrics appointment? need input here!

I would probably do both. Call them and see what they say, and if you can't get any traction, explain the situation at the appointment. Perhaps you may want to see them sooner, via infopass appointment.

Happened to us also. I talked to our local service center and they set it up to be corrected at biometrics.

Took 3 different biometric appointments to correct it.

Be SURE they have EVERYTHING correct before you leave the bio building.

First time they failed to do anaks fingerprint and picture.

Second time was to correct A#s.

Had to do third as the computers blew and lost the info on the first two. !!

Kick ourselfs in the puwit for not doing CRs.

K3/K4s suck compared to CRs!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Also, it may not be an error at all.

I was in the United States on a F1 Visa and OPT. When I received my NOA1 (for AOS), the number was different from my earlier alien number. I called up USCIS, and they told me that a new alien number is assigned when you are applying for AOS. My new alien number was totally different from my earlier, the operator said that was fine, but also told me that they usually only change one digit (which could be your case).

Of course, there is probably an error if your alien number on your biometric appointment is different from your NOA1, and if that is the case, I would bring both NOA1 and biometric notice to the appointment and point out the discrepancy.

I have this problem with my advance parole. When I called USCIS, they filed a service request to change the number and said it would take up to 45 days to change. I also scheduled and infopass apt to try and get this sorted out, as i don't trust the USCIS office to get it changed in time for me to travel. I would push for the change at your biometrics, but also get a service request filed with USCIS. Maybe you can get an infopass apt for the same day as you have your biometrics and kill 2 birds wth one stone?
