Hello, I just wanted to see if anybody else had this experience working with the paris consulate, I searched back and got mixed results. I contacted NVC initially in January and they said the consulate had not received it yet, and I contacted them start of this month because I had not received any communication from Paris and they gave me my case number. I checked CEAC and the status was already "READY", but me or my fiancé has not received any paper letters or emails from Paris, and my NOA2 says it expires end of this month. Are we good to go ahead and try scheduling the interview, doing medical and such? I want to make sure she doesn't need a specific interview letter or anything. Is there a good way to contact Paris in case I need an extension? I sent ParisIV email address an email but I have yet to get a response.

Thank you very much!

I don't have experience specifically with the Paris Embassy, however in regards to your NOA2 expiry date, do not worry about that. It will not prevent your fiancée from going to the interview. If it is expired at the time of the interview, if the consular officer approves the visa, they will automatically extend the validity date of the NOA2. This happens quite often and it's written right into the Department of State Foreign Affairs Manual (FAM) that they extend an expired NOA2 upon approval of the K-1 Visa. The only thing I would counsel you to do is to write up new "Letters of Intent to Marry" and have your fiancée bring them to the interview. For yours, you can create it, sign it and scan & send to her to print out and bring.

Yes that's the actual visa application form and the confirmation page is what your fiancée will bring to the interview. The application is actually her application to the embassy. The confirmation number is what you will use when scheduling the interview.

you have to do that to schedule the interview and to hear anything from the embassy

after the case goes to embassy,  filling out the  ds 160 is the next step

also,  get your 2025 taxes done ASAP so she will have copies of the IRS transcripts for the interview
