The I-130 could be approved any time from now. But often they don’t rush to approve the I-130’s when there’s no visa available to the beneficiary anyway, as is the case for your son-in-law.

 

Which country was he born in and which month of 2025 did they apply in? He’s probably got about another 18 months to go as a rough guess. 
 

When is your daughter eligible for citizenship?

My daughter is eligible for applying for citizenship in November 2026.

She applied for him in December 2024, I believe NOA1 dare is December,  14.

My son-in- law is from Moldova. I know it is one of those 75 unlucky countries,  but we hope it will change soon.

Once she naturalises she can upgrade her case.
