more than a year on nvc never received approval

Hello everybody:

A friend's daughter is a US citizen and the daughter filed for her in 2023, in may of 2024 she was approved and sent to NVC, neither of them knew of this and finally my friend received a letter asking her if she is still interested.

How can she go about it. the letter says to login to CEAC and pay all required fees and documents.

question: What are the fees and how much do they cost

When was the letter? She needs to hurry up as after a year the case will be terminated if she hasn’t sought to acquire a visa.

Your friend needs to check the email they gave was correct, as that’s where the Welcome Letter will have been sent to, and all future communication will go there too. If it is correct then she needs to make sure she checks her junk/spam folder regularly.
